I can't tell you how excited and surprised I was when I received an email from the October Afternoon Design Team Coordinator asking me to be their November Guest Designer. October Afternoon is one of my all time favorite scrapbook companies. I love every line they put out. It definitely didn't take me long to say yes! (I'm afraid the Design Team Coordinator might have heard my excited cry from here! lol)
For my first card, I pulled out some patterned papers from the Rocket Age paper pad along with a sticker from the Rocket Age collection, some Rocket Age buttons, and some Mini Market Alphabet stickers. I stitched cut the square background for my card along with some rectangles in the smaller patterned papers. Then, I hand cut the slopes and stitched my patterned papers together. I stitched some buttons in place and added my sentiment using the Mini Market alphabet stickers. Last, I added the little boy using some foam adhesive.
Hop on over to the October Afternoon blog to read my answers to the questionnaire they sent over. (Okay, so like a dork I messed up my date for my first post and got my stuff sent over to OA too late for their post. I'm so sorry, Jennifer! Um, yeah, I definitely feel like a dork. The OA post with the questionaire will be until next week.)
Have a great weekend!
Niki

Well done you, of course they would want to have you guest design. The best person i know to combine patterned paper (I think I may have said that a few times before). This one is up to your usual high standard. Love the new photo, very professional looking.
