Hi Everyone! I'm back with a couple more cards for my post over on the October Afternoon blog as this month's guest designer. This week, I had to play with some of the new Holiday Style goodies! I absolutely love everything about this line. Christmas is my favorite holiday and October Afternoon definitely hit it out of the park with this line! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!
One of my personal favorite things about the new line is the Miscellany pack. I just love all those vintage inspired images. They are perfect for cards, scrapbooks, December Daily albums, tags, you name it. I plan on using a bunch of the pieces in my Project Life album.
I used the 8x8 paper pad, the Miscellany pack, and the Buttons from the Holiday Style collection on both my cards. Both of these images are just so cute! I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the pipe cleaners that come in the miscellany pack, but I decided to bend one into a bow and use it in place of ribbon. I love the texture it adds!
On this card, I used another of the images from the miscellany pack. (Love these images!) The little snowflake also comes in the pack. I stitched a button in the center before adhering it to my card. The lace is from May Arts.
Have a great weekend!
Niki
These look like the cards I have saved from when I was a little girl! So cute!!
