Tonight, the Waltzingmouse Stamps design team is featuring previews of the new Dainty Doilies and Dainty Doilies 2 stamp sets. Just wait until you see these sets! Claire has put so many beautiful details into designing the doilies and they are just amazing! And the stamped doilies coordinate with the Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles LG nestability dies so it's easy to die cut them after stamping.
For my card tonight, I used one of the stamps from the new Dainty Doilies 2 stamp set to stamp the doily under my sentiment. The stamp I used is half of the finished doily. It is really easy to stamp the first half, realign the stamp, and stamp the rest of the doily.
After stamping my doily with tuxedo black memento ink, I colored in part of the doily with an R29 copic marker and die cut it with one of the big scalloped circle nestability dies. I used a piece of patterned paper from October Afternoon's Schoolhouse line which I stitched to an orange cardstock layer. I stamped a circle from the Vintage Circles Small stamp set using indian corn blue ink from CTMH and die cut it with a circle nestability die. I used a sentiment from the Words of Wisdom stamp set. I added some roses from Prima Marketing, some leaves punched with the Martha Stewart branch punch, and some rhinestones that I had colored red with my copic marker.
Hop on over to the rest of the design team ladies' blogs for lots more inspiration using the new Dainty Doilies and the Dainty Doilies 2 stamp sets (available May 1st).
