Welcome to Day 5 of the countdown to the release of my new stamp sets, School Time and School Time Additions, at Papertrey Ink. Both sets will be available July 15th at midnight.
When I was playing with the School Time stamp set, I had to create a card where the focus was on some of the images in the set that fit within the circle border stamp. There are three images in the set (the book, the apple, and the school bus) and four sentiments (Thanks, Teacher, Back to School, Field Trip, and First Day of School) that fit in the center of the circle border stamp. They work great as focal images for cards or as quick embellishments for layouts. I used the "I Love School" background stamp to create the patterned paper. Then, I added some ripe avocado and pure poppy cardstock layers and some stitching to finish off my card.
Thank you so much to everyone for all your comments and emails during the countdown! It made my morning each day when I sat down and read your messages in my email box. I can't wait to see what everyone creates with my new sets!
More sneak peeks from these ladies today: Nichole, Alli, Heather, Dawn, and Maile. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Very cute card, Niki! I am amazed you can make countdown projects w/a newborn - when mine were that tiny, it was a challenge to keep everybody fed & clean!

Great set Niki. I can hardly wait to see the set in full. I like how you did the background on this and some other cards. I am really looking forward to the alphabet one too. I can't believe you get this done with a new baby in the house! That must take organization plus!

My kids are no longer in school, but your card took me back. It would be fun to make with my granddaugher for her teacher. How sweet. Thanks
