I had the chance to play along with the current Stampavie challenge today which is to use glitter on your cards. I chose this adorable Wish Upon a Star image illustrated by Tina Wenke. It's so sweet and I thought this sentiment was perfect with this image. Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney is one of my favorite children's books to read to my children. This image with that sentiment remind me of that book. If you have little ones and haven't heard of this book, I definitely recommend it along with You're All My Favorites also by Sam McBratney.
The image is colored with copic markers and I paired it with some older patterned papers from My Mind's Eye. I added lots of stitching, yellow glitter to the large stars and moon, and a couple buttons. I added sparkle to the trails of the shooting stars and the speckles from stars far off in the distance with a Sakura gelly roll pen.
Have a wonderful Friday and thanks for stopping by!
Niki
