May's Papertrey Ink release brought the newest stamp set in the Year of Flowers line, the Lily of the Valley. It's another beautiful flower image and a great addition to this line that I love so much. I created a fairly clean and simple card so that the image really takes center stage. I stamped the card base with one of the backgrounds from Background Basics: Geometrics in dark chocolate link. Then, I stamped my flower on white cardstock and colored it with copic markers. I stitched it to a dark chocolate layer and added my sentiment along with a few clear rhinestones.
Thanks so much for stopping by and for the sweet comments that so many of you leave. It always brightens my day when I read your comments!
Niki

I really like your card. This month's flower is a favorite of mine since I was born in May. I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how much I am enjoying the stamp sets I purchased from you and the book. Hope you are feeling well.

your coloring is gorgeous. If I thought I could color and shade like that, I'd invest in Copics and some of the open line PTI stamps.
