It's hard to believe the March release has come and gone at Papertrey Ink! It was such a fun release, though! I had so much fun playing with the sets this month and have lots of new cards to share. I thought I would start with one of my favorites. I just love the new Year of Flowers line that Nichole is designing each month. At the end of the year, this is going to be such an amazing collection! This month's flower is daffodils. You may have seen this card on Nichole's blog yesterday. I went a little vintage with my card and love how it turned out. Subdued colors in the flower and lots of sponged ink edges and crocheted lace help create the vintage feel. I used the tea dye duo inks and dark chocolate ink to really dirty up the image and help it look old and worn.
Have a great day!
Niki

OMG Niki, this one is stunning! Love the look of the lace. I picked some up at my LSS and have been nervous to use it as it has to be used with the perfect card hey! Plus, then I will run out and then what....LOL!

Like the way you "dirtied up" the card; my fav--grungy! Lovely card, lovely daffodils. Please keep the "lace ideas" coming ... I have a hard time knowing how to use/place lace and I like what you've been doing with it. :)
