Thanks so much to everyone for your sweet comments on yesterday's post. I want to assure you all that I'm not going anywhere. I love stamping and card making and am not leaving all my design teams. I'm just cutting back a bit. I have some fun things that I've been working on and the personal stuff is good stuff, happy stuff, so no worries about that. Hugs!!
Oh, I forgot yesterday when I posted my card to include the photo of the copic markers I used. I know many people find that useful. Sorry, I am terrible about remembering to take a photo before I move on to the next image. Anyway, I added the photo to yesterday's post if you were curious about what copic markers I used. Good luck to everyone in the blog candy draw (ends tomorrow morning)!
I created this CAS (clean and simple) card when Blooming Button Bits was released. I just love all of these button sets that Nichole is coming up with! What a great way to use one of my favorite embellishments!
I stamped the leaves from Turning a New Leaf on my rustic cream card base using new leaf ink. Then, I inked the edges with the tea dye duo inks and stamped my sentiment by the leaves. I stamped the flower on white cardstock using hibiscus burst ink and cut it out. I added a spring rain button and adhered the flower to my card using foam adhesive for extra dimension.
Have a great day!
Niki
Recipe

Such a pretty card. A card without sewing? I love how easy it is to make quick, but elegant cards with the leaf set. Buttons are my downfall. I have to have every one I see. Happy Monday.
