Candice Aguilar released a new set called Out to Sea this month at Papertrey Ink (it was one of the sets given away on the cruise last year). It's a great masculine set. For my card, I chose to use kraft, dark chocolate, spring rain, enchanted evening, and rustic cream as my color scheme. I stamped the pattern on the card base using dark chocolate and enchanted evening inks and sponged the edges with dark chocolate link. The anchors on the spring rain strip were also stamped with enchanted evening ink. I love this new dark blue. This card ended up being one of my favorites that I created for this month's release. I love the pattern on the kraft cardstock and the colors.
So, what does everyone think of the Question/Answer posts? Are they interesting or just something you kind of skip over? They don't get too many comments so I'm just curious what most people think. Hey, I know you're here for the cards! lol
Oh, I also wanted to mention that the blog candy winner has not contacted me yet so you may want to check to see if you were the lucky winner if you haven't yet. I'll draw a new name this weekend if I don't hear back today or tomorrow.
Niki

Great card!! I love this set. I purchased it after seeing the DT gallery, plus we are going on a sailing trip next year and I thought it would be great for scrapbooking the trip! I am enjoying the Q&A posts. It's fun to get some insight on the person behind the great cards!!

Love the card! As far as the Q&A, I love reading about other stampers - especially those that I see as extraordinary, like you!

Didn't get to read you blog for a couple of days but I do have to say that I really enjoyed reading your answers to all the questions. I like finding out where people live and how they go about their everyday lives. I love your designs and am awed by your creativity. I realy like the masculine card today.

Hi Niki....
Just want you to know how much I appreciate you taking the time to answer people's questions. I read each and every one of them and I did get some useful information from you. I plan on purchasing one of those Tonic guilletine paper cutters and thanks so much for the info on the cheaper ATG tape refill. That's almost a $1.20 savings on each roll compared to where I purchase mine. Thanks again for that piece of info. I checked QVC and couldn't find any info on the Perfect Layers.
BTW, your beautiful card creations are always great in my opinion.

I appreciate your taking the time for the Q&As. Now when I read your blog I feel like I know you better, and I appreciate the helpful information. I own "Perfect Layers," but I don't think I have taken it out of the package, so I would appreciate a tutorial on it too.

OMG -- I just went through the same darn thing with CARDS. I left umteen messages then one time they mistakenly answered. Got it cleared up but then waited three weeks for my refund of my second "Premium Subscriber" renewal. I was really ticked, but I do love their magazine.
Absolutely love this card. I have an almost identical stamp and will try to make a same kind card. Thanks !!!
