This is the final card that I created for the Papertrey Ink release this month. I had to create another patterned paper using Guide Lines II. (Love that set!) This time I stamped my patterned paper on kraft cardstock. I started out stamping the grid using fresh snow ink. I'm a little impatient so I sped the drying along a bit with my heat gun. Then, I stamped the white image in the center of the circle and dried it again with my heat gun. I added the dark chocolate and ocean tides images to finish off my patterned paper. I created a whole sheet of this patterned paper, too, so I'm sure you will see it again sometime.
I distressed the edge of my patterned paper before adding a dark chocolate mat. Then, I wrapped my crocheted lace, dark chocolate satin ribbon, and ocean tides satin ribbon around the piece. I added a couple hydrangeas and a decorative brad before adhering it to my card base. Then, I stamped my sentiment and added the little hearts from Heart Prints. I added my layers and used foam adhesive to attach the sentiment to my card.
I am feeling a little better so I hope to get a chance to stamp something new. Tomorrow, I'll start sharing my cards made with this year's Papertrey Ink anniversary set. Such a fun set! Lots of people have received their set(s) and more are being mailed out each day. It's fun to start seeing cards popping up in galleries using the set. Hope you have a happy day!
Niki
