Bitty Merry Christmas

I created this card last month, but haven't had a chance to post it yet.  It uses the new Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set from Pink Cat Studio.  I just love those bitties!  I paired the image with some Figgy Pudding patterned paper from Basic Grey.

One more Halloween card to share and then I am moving on.  This is the last of the Pink Cat Studio digital images that I purchased earlier this month, Itty Bitty Betty - Witch Costume.  Isn't she cute?!  I paired her with some green patterned paper (Early Bird line from Cosmo Cricket), some orange striped patterned paper (Autumn Abundance paper pad from Papertrey Ink), and some purpe patterned paper (Guide Lines paper pad from Papertrey Ink).

I colored her with copic markers and then sponged black ink along the edges of all of my papers.  I added some stitching and distressed the edges with a pair of scissors.  I also added a little dimensional glaze to the frog's eyes.

Are you ready for Halloween?  Hard to believe it will be here this weekend!  My kids are ready, but I'm not sure the weather is going to cooperate.  It's been cold, windy, and spitting snow today.

BOO!

I have a card to share today with Itty Bitty Bobby.  Isn't he cute in his little dinosaur costume?!  This is another one of the digital stamps I purchased from Pink Cat Studio, Itty Bitty Bobby - Dinosaur Costume.  I paired my image with a piece of green patterned paper from the Early Bird line from Cosmo Cricket along with some patterned papers from the Papertrey Ink Hocus Pocus paper pad.

Then, I colored my image with copic markers, stitched my patterned papers, and added a sentiment.  The sentiment is one of the tags from Papertrey Ink's 2009 Halloween Tags Collection.  I stamped it once in new leaf ink and once in true black.  I punched the center of the black one and layered it over the new leaf tag.  Last, I added some dimensional glaze to the dinosaur costume's eyes.
 
I have one more card using a Halloween image from Pink Cat Studios to share and I've been working on sneak peeks of new releases coming this weekend from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and Whiff of Joy.  Wait until you see all the cute new images from both companies!?

halloween wishes

 
A couple weeks ago, I can across these adorable images from Pink Cat Studios, Itty Bitty Betty and Itty Bitty Bobby.  Melissa offers some images as rubber stamps (an super fast shipping, I might add!) and some as digital stamps.  I ordered some Christmas stamps to play with and also some digital Halloween stamps.  Gotta love the convenience and instant gratification of the digital stamps.  I absolutely love Itty Bitty Betty and Itty Bitty Bobby and had to order some of them in their cute little costumes!  This is Itty Bitty Betty - Ladybug Costume.  I sized the images and printed them out on my white Papertrey Ink cardstock and the rest of the card was created the exact same way I create all of my cards.

I colored Betty with copic markers and added a little glitter to the bottom wings.  Then, I stitched my patterned papers to my black card base.  I stamped the sentiment on orange zest cardstock and punched it out.  I adhered it behind my image, stitched a button in the center, and then adhered both to my card with foam adhesive.  I stitched my buttons to my card and lined the inside of my card with white cardstock.

I made the decision this weekend to leave the Wags 'n Whiskers design team.  I want to make sure everyone knows it has nothing to do with Lacey or Nikki.  They are both amazing ladies and I wish them tons of success!!!  I've just had some things come up recently and didn't feel I could fulfill my design team requirements so I stepped down.  I am sure you will be seeing their adorable images on my blog again in the future.
