Welcome to Day One of the Waltzingmouse Stamps July release sneak peeks! Today, Claire and the design team are sharing sneak peeks of three new stamp sets: Cameo to Go, Cameo Creations, and Ovals - Classic Frames. The new sets will be available on July 1st in the Waltzingmouse Stamps online store.
For my card today, I used the Cameo to Go and Oval - Classic Frames stamp sets along with the previously released Very Vintage Labels No. 18 stamp set. I started by stamping the oval frame from Ovals - Classic Frame with tulip ctmh ink (Close to My Heart). Then, I stamped the cameo from Cameos to Go with archival black ctmh ink. I stamped over the cameo image with a solid oval image from Ovals - Classic Frames and juniper ctmh ink. This made the imaged colored instead of cream like the background cardstock.
On another piece of cream cardstock, I stamped the label from Very Vintage Labels No. 18 with juniper ink. I die cut both pieces using nestabilty dies. Then, I sponged some antique linen and tea dye distress inks around the edges of my label, frame, and patterned papers. (Green striped patterned paper is die cut with a labels 8 nestabilty die.) The patterned papers are from October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker paper pad. I added a sentiment from Cameo to Go and some stitching. (Love that font!) I adhered my label and frame with foam adhesive and added some tiny brown pearls from ctmh on the frame.
