I absolutely adore Henry Mouse! He is just so cute! I couldn't wait to ink up one of the new Christmas images. I decided to use the Henry Mouse with Christmas Bauble first. The color scheme I chose was a maroon, cream, and ocean tides. I used some patterned paper designed by Kelly Panachi that I've had for quite a few years now and a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Holiday Tree stamp set.
I colored him with copic markers and sponged the edges of my card with antique linen distress ink. Then, I stitched my layers, added my ribbon with a button in the center, and assembled the card. Last, I stamped the sentiment, sponged distress ink around the edges, added an ocean tides layer and a scarlet jewel button before adhering it to my card.
My son absolutely loves the new Henry Mouse images, too, and couldn't wait to make a card! He created this cute card with the Henry Mouse eating Cookie image. I love seeing the cards he makes!
Have a good one!
Niki

What a great card - I love the colours and all the elements on it.
Just one word of warning - starting your son off in card making so young is going to cost you a fortune! His card is great as well!
